What will shipping cost?

For orders in the continental U.S., we offer $4.00 flat rate shipping and free shipping for all orders over $75.00. Extra shipping costs may apply for Hawaiian, Alaskan, and International orders. 

 

Can I make a special order?

Absolutely. We will gladly place special orders for tools, accessories, books, or yarns. Since yarn companies sell yarn by the bag, you may need to order more than you need. If we regularly carry the yarn that you want, we will absorb any any skeins you do not want from the bag into our inventory. If we do not already carry the yarn you want to order, you must purchase the entire bag. All special orders must be paid in full (with shipping costs) at the time of the order request.

 

Will you wind my skeins for me?

Of course! If you want to skip the hand-winding, just let us know in the 'notes' section when you check out. We'll happily wind any unruly skeins into convenient cakes. That way when your package arrives on your doorstep- you can get to the fun part right away. No refunds or exchanges may be accepted after the yarn is wound.

 

How do I update my email address for the mailing list?

To update your information, register your new email address HERE and remove your old address via the 'unsubscribe' link in any of our emails. You can also contact us for assistance. 

 

Will my dye lots match?

When you order multiple skeins of one yarn, we will do our best to only send you skeins with matching dye lots. Unfortunately because hand dyed yarns, natural dyes, and independant dye companies tend to dye yarn in small batches- dye lots are sometimes unique and hard to match. If you have a specific dye lot you are attempting to match, contact us before you order.

 

Where are the electronic patterns I ordered?

When you first submit an online order containing a pattern, a button to download the PDF will automatically appear on the order confirmation page (allow a minute to load). You will also receive an email containing links to download your patterns. If the download is not working correctly, make sure you are using a device that can open and view PDF files. Some mobile devices, such as tablets and phones, may need a third party app to access PDF files. 

 

I'm stuck on a project! Will you help me?

That's what we're here for! Local customers with knitting, crocheting, spinning, or weaving woes are encouraged to come in and ask for assistance anytime during our regular business hours. We can also do our best to answer any questions over the phone or through email. If you think your need extra time or assistance, please call and we can arrange an appointment for you. 

 

Can I make a return/exchange?

We can only grant you store credit for any returns. Any unused yarns may be returned for store credit up to 90 days after the purchase. The yarn must still be in the original condition with the intact yarn label. We do not accept any returns or exchanges for needles, hooks, books, magazines, or any tools. Any sale or discounted purchases may not be returned or exchanged.  Workshops and classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the workshop date.
