This week we have a really cute little one skein cowl to share! The small size makes it perfect for the upcoming spring season, but it's still warm and insulating enough to wear for the rest of winter, too.
The Miski Cowl is free to download and it uses just 1 skein of Miski, which are only $9 each.
Miski is 100% baby llama, which means it's soft and has a magnificent amount of drape. That drapey quality shows off the stitch pattern beautifully, and even with the high amount of fuzz from the llama- the faux cables and lacy edges are still clean and easy to see.
The Miski Cowl's design is fairly simple, and the most complicated techniques are yarn overs, slipping stitches, and passing the slipped stitches over. The whole cowl is knitted flat, and then seamed together to create the cowl's loop. If you want a longer version of the Miski Cowl, it would be easy to simply add a second, or even third skein of Miski!!
