Kama Ribbed Cap
Valentine's Day is just around the corner! Will you be knitting for your sweetheart?
The Kama Ribbed Cap is a sweet & simple hat pattern that could be made with or without the little twisted knot at the top. We happen to love that little detail, but we know it probably isn't to everyone's taste.
The free Kama Ribbed Cap pattern is only available with your purchase of Kama.
You'll need 2 skeins to finish the hat. 3 skeins will yield 2 hats!
Our Kama Ribbed Cap pattern is an adaptation of Ribbed Cap pattern by Carla Scott. We've modified to pattern to be knit in the round (instead of knit flat and seamed). We also adjusted the design to fit adult medium & large head sizes using Noro's yarn Kama
Noro certainly has their style, and Kama is no exception. The yarn is an incredible blend of wool, silk, alpaca, mohair, and angora- and it's spun into a soft single ply with a lot of texture and vibrant colors. I love how the colors pool into bright stripes!
The cute little pigtail twist at the top of the crown is made by knotting up a short i-cord you knit once you work the decreases. If left out, this hat is a simple unisex design that anyone would wear.
